"Job for All": Karnataka Belagavi all set to witness job fair

BELAGAVI: All preparations are in place for 'The Belagavi Udyoga Mela' (Hybrid Job Fair) on Thursday at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology in the Karnataka border town.

The event also marks the debut of the "Job for All" project, which was developed in partnership with the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), and the Department of Skill Development. Based on the feedback, it has been decided to hold another Job Fair in Belagavi in the third week of January.

A total of 71 firms are expected to attend the event, with 57 of them physically present and 14 participating virtually to fill 4500+ positions for BE/Diploma/ITI graduates. On the 'skill connect' portal, a total of 3,954 candidates have registered, with 600+ individuals sending resumes via mail. On Wednesday, voice texts were issued to registered applicants reminding them to arrive at the venue at 8 a.m., and bus services were set up at bus stops and train stations to transport job seekers to the venue.

Posters, banners, brochures, voice messages, text messages, newspaper advertising, news channel scrolling, and all digital content were delivered to local MLAs and MPs to promote in their groups, and all digital material was provided to local MLAs and MPs to promote in their groups.
