Kolkata: The year 2020 has been like a shock to the whole world so far, this year, the death of many people and many celebrities have shaken the people. Meanwhile, it has been reported today that Kishore Bhimani, a famous sports journalist and cricket commentator, has passed away. For the past one month, he was suffering from corona infection and now he lost his life on October 15.

Bhimani underwent corona treatment in Woodland Hospital for the last 1 month. He was a distinguished journalist of the country and also a well-known commentator. He was honoured with the Life Time Achievement Award for his special contribution to the media and documentary in 2013. Bhimani had so much knowledge of cricket that he was called the Encyclopedia of Cricket.

He is remembered for the documentary of the tie test played at Chepak between India-Australia in 1986. In his 3-decade-long journalism and cricket documentary career, Bhimani won several awards. He has also been honoured with the H & G Clinic Journalism Award in 2012 before being honoured with the Life Time Achievement Award in 2013.
