The year 2020 is left with few more tournaments for the Tennis players. The world No: 1 Djokovic with 17 slams is planning for Australian Open 2021 and is qualified for the ATP World Tour Finals in November 2020. Goran Ivanisevic, 2001 Wimbledon Champion is the World No: 1’s coach. In a recent interview he has shared about Djokovic upcoming schedule.
The Australian government has made 2 week compulsory quarantine which according to the coach is tough for Djokovic to take part in tournament before the Grand Slam. The coach added I and Novak will devise a plan and the loss in French Open is not the last, as Nadal felt in Australian Open last year. Novak is a winner and importantly is a fighter which is evident from his title in Rome immediately after US open where he suffered injury. Nadal on winning Australian Open 2021 will be the first person in the Open Era to win each Slam twice.

The semi-finalists Stefanos Tsitsipas Djokovic opponent moved up to No: 5, Diego Schwartzman faced Nadal moves 6 places up to No: 8. Women’s singles winner Iga Swiatek moved 37 places up to No: 17 and the runner up Sofia Kenin moved 2 places up to No: 4.
