New Delhi: Journalist Barkha Dutt's father SP Dutt died of corona. Barkha Dutt tweeted about the same on Tuesday. He had been an Air India officer. Barkha Dutt tweeted "I had promised to bring him home in two days, but I could not keep my promise I failed".
Barkha Dutt also shared a picture with the family. "The kindest and loving man, my father, lost the battle of Corona this morning and passed away", She wrote on Twitter. 'When I was taking him to the hospital against his wishes, I promised to bring him back home in two days, but I could not fulfill my promise. I failed. He never broke any promise made to us'.
Barkha Dutt further wrote, "My father's last words were, I can't breathe, get me treated. I thank all the doctors, nurses, ward staff, security guards, and ambulance drivers of Medanta who worked hard. He loved invention. He used to make trains, airplanes for his grandchildren".
