BJP leader JP Nadda reaches Patna for election campaign in Bihar

Patna: BJP National President JP Nadda on Sunday paid tributes to Jai Prakash Narayan, saying he had dedicated his entire life to the society with simplicity and that the PM Modi-led Central government was acting in letter and spirit in accordance with his sentiments. Nadda has arrived in Patna on Sunday to blow up the party's campaigning for Bihar assembly elections.

Nadda performed puja at the famous Hanuman temple here, along with Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, Party State President Sanjay Jaiswal, and several other leaders. JP Nadda is also going to address a rally at Gandhi Maidan in Gaya. Nadda's rally is seen as the start of the BJP's election campaign. BJP chief JP Nadda paid floral tributes at his statue on the birth anniversary of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan in the Kadamkuan area of Patna.

Speaking on the occasion, he told the press that the black chapter of India's history, his call for a complete revolution to protect democracy during the emergency, has come to a new era. His whole life was full of struggle and spiritual practice. Nadda said that many leaders from the JP movement led Indian politics and gave the country a new direction.
