NEW DELHI: Top state BJP leaders, including Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, are expected to meet with the party's Central leadership on Thursday ahead of next year's Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.

In the national capital, BJP chairman J P Nadda and national general secretary (organisation) B L Santosh will meet with Madhya Pradesh party leaders to discuss the party's preparations for November-December 2023 state elections and other organisational issues.

The meeting was arranged in response to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's recent visit to Bhopal. "The discussion will cover a review of Chouhan's administration's work as well as poll preparedness. The conference is expected to include state-level RSS leaders "according to the sources

The following topics are likely to be discussed: next year's assembly elections, organisational strengthening, and better government-organization coordination. "Some appointments of CEOs of corporations and boards of directors may also be discussed," party sources added.

In-charge of the BJP in the state AP The meeting is expected to be attended by Murlidhar Rao, state president V D Sharma, national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, union minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Madhya Pradesh home minister Narrotam Mishra, and other dignitaries. 

The state BJP has already initiated many strategies to reach out to voters in preparation for the next assembly elections, which will accelerate in the following days.
