Actress Rhea Chakraborty who is arrested in connection with the drug dealing related to the death of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was sent to judicial remand till 22 September. Later on Wednesday, Rhea's advocate Satish Maneshinde filed a bail petition in the session court. On this a decision was to come today, but now a decision will come on this Friday.
Let us tell you that on Tuesday, the Narcotics Control Bureau took her into custody and presented her in court at around 4 o'clock. The NCB, while not seeking his custody, had requested him to be sent to judicial remand for 14 days, while Rhea's advocate was seeking bail. The court rejected the demand for bail and ordered him to be sent to judicial remand for 14 days.
Remind you that the Narcotics Control Bureau took the actress into custody on Tuesday after being questioned for three days in connection with drug-related defects in the death of the deceased actor. Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty had already been arrested by NCB. Till now NCB including the actress has taken 10 persons into custody. Significantly, this drugs angle is also related to the death of the late actor. On 14 June 2020, the actor's body was found in a flat in Bandra. Also, the case is being investigated continuously.
