Juhi Chawla, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in several films, recently shared that there was a time when the actor couldn't afford to pay his EMI. She revealed that Shah Rukh lost his Gypsy car because he couldn't pay the EMI. During this time, Juhi reminisced about Shah Rukh Khan's struggle days and mentioned how he used to work in 2-3 shifts daily despite not having a home in Mumbai.

Juhi Chawla has known Shah Rukh Khan for a long time. Not only have they worked together in many films, but they are also business partners today. Juhi Chawla has a stake in Shah Rukh Khan's IPL team KKR and is often seen involved in its activities.

During an event at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Juhi talked about Shah Rukh Khan, saying, "I remember that Shah Rukh didn't have a house in Mumbai during those days. After coming from Delhi, I don't know where he stayed. He used to have tea with the film unit and eat with the film crew, which helped him blend in quickly with everyone."

"At that time, Shah Rukh used to work in 2-3 shifts. While he was doing 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman' with me in 1992, he was also working on 'Dil Aashna Hai' and simultaneously shooting 'Deewana' with Divya Bharti."

Juhi Chawla also recounted the story of Shah Rukh's car being taken away. She said, "Back then, Shah Rukh had a black Gypsy. But one day, it was taken away because he couldn't pay the EMI or something like that happened. Shah Rukh came to the set feeling very disappointed, and I told him not to worry, that one day he would have many cars. Shah Rukh still remembers this because it came true. Look at where he is today."

Shah Rukh and Juhi have shared screen space in films like Yash Chopra's 'Darr,' Mahesh Bhatt's 'Duplicate,' Rajiv Mehra's 'Ram Jaane,' Aziz Mirza's 'Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani,' and 'One 2 Ka 4.' Together, they also opened a production house called Dreamz Unlimited with Aziz Mirza in 2000. Later, Shah Rukh Khan started his own studio, Red Chillies Entertainment. Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film is 'King,' while Juhi was recently seen in 'The Railway Man.
