Dharmendra was married to Karuna Singh, a professor in a Agra college a month ago on March 10. Every person living in the neighborhood of Dharmendra Singh Chauhan visited his home to attend his body and paid tribute to them. During his last visit from Dharmendra Singh Chauhan's house, many people were present on the road and showering flowers on the body of Dharmendra Singh Chauhan and chanting the slogans of Bharat Mata with the honors, he felicitated them with the final farewell.

Dharmendra Singh was posted as a lieutenant commander in the Navy and his age was only 30 years. He joined the Navy only in 2013. He was married this year and his marriage was just a month and a half. It is being reported that after the death of Dharmendra Singh, who lived in Ratlam's Riddhi Siddhi colony, it was first reported to his wife Karna Chauhan. After giving this information to Karna, around 1:30 pm on Friday, the Naval officer also called the Mother of Dharmendra Singh Chauhan and told her about martyr of Dharmendra. While Tammakun heard about the news of his son's martyrdom get faint.

Significantly, on Friday, the Navy's largest aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya had a fire and the fire took place in the vessel at the time when the vessel was reaching Karawad port in Karnataka. After the fire in the vessel, the jawans in the vessel tried very hard to extinguish the fire to prevent the fighter's fire from being affected by the fire and overcame the fire. During this time, Dharmendra Singh Chauhan tried hard to save the machinery compartment from the fire and extinguished the fire. At the same time, however, he became unconscious due to fire and smoke. After which Dharmendra Singh Chauhan was immediately admitted to the Naval Hospital located at Karvad. But Dharmendra could not be saved and he was martyred. Meanwhile, Navy officials have ordered the Board of Inquiry to investigate the incident. Only after this inquiry will it be known that finally how the fire took place in INS Vikramaditya.
