Level of Kabbadi’s popularity has gone to another level, first the world recognition, and the world cup which is coming up next on this Friday, October 7th 2016. The event is organized by International Kabbadi Federation (IKF) which is led by, Deoraj Chaturvedi, the tournament will be held in Ahmadabad, Gujarat.
The spotlight feature to this event is, it is going to take place after 9 years. Also due to the international tension between the states of India and Pakistan, the latter is debarred from the World Cup.
12 teams are taking part in the tournament including hosts India, Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, England, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Poland, South Korea, Thailand and United States of America.
The event will be broadcasted on Star Sports networks and the final will be held on till 22nd October 2016.
