The television queen, Ekta Kapoor, recently made her fans extremely happy with some amazing news. The ace television personality has taken Twitter as a platform to reveal that she is working on a full-length TV serial which will be a family drama. Ekta Kapoor is the reason for hit TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii etc.

According to the reports published in Pinkvilla, the show will soon go on-air on Sony TV. By breaking the news on the Twitter, she tweeted, "A family soap after years !!! Mostly done love stories recently with the backdrop of family!! This soap will air on SONY ...a family that eats together stays together NOOOO a family that accepts each other stays together."
 
Ekta further added, "Nothing new everything old !!! Back to basics! Simple warm endearing !!! Iv been v radical with my content recently this is a 2018 take at the age-old family story!!!"

If rumours to believe then the show can be a remake of KJo's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.Leading to this Mrunal Jain has been approached by Ekta as one of the leads.

Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor is also rebooting her iconic show, Kasauti Zindagii Kay. During an interview, when asked about her views on bringing back her own show in a completely new package, she said that the story of Kasauti is like a old wine, everyone today is facing the same thing like the plot of the story. The story is old and now as the new era begins the social stigmas change, widow marriage is no longer a stigma today or divorces for that matter, so once that stigma goes and social acceptability comes.
