Actress Sakshi Tanwar feels the popular and iconic show 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' changed the audience’s experience for the good. As the serial is coming back after about 13 years, the actress gets nostalgic about being part of the show and playing an ideal daughter-in-law, titled as ‘Parvati’ in it.

According to her, this was one of the shows that had set a trend of saas-bahu sagas on television and was so much connected to the daily lives of viewers and fans that one can see similar cases happening next door.

She says: "It truly enabled the change of television viewing experience. It is one of those shows which set the example for what we still see on our television sceens as daily soaps. The connection between television actors and their audience is quite special to me."

"It is a sweet exchange of emotions through TV which may even be compared to meeting your neighbors on a daily basis. I am truly overjoyed to see its re-run on television," adds the actress known for television shows such as ‘Kutumb’, 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' and many more.

She also featured in films like 'Dangal' and was seen as Daya Kaur, wife of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, played by the famous Bollywood star Aamir Khan.

Actors like Sakshi Tanwar, Kiran Karmarkar, Shweta Kawatraa and Ali Agar became well-known names and even today they are remembered for their characters.

'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' was one of the most popular and successful shows on TV from 2000 to 2008. In fact it was among the Top 5.
