Digvijay Deshmukh, who worked as a child artist in the Bollywood film Kai Po Che, will now be seen playing cricket in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 team. 21-year-old Digvijay will play for the Mumbai Indians team in the IPL. Prior to this, he has played seven T20 matches for Maharashtra. Digvijay's bid was made at a base price of Rs 20 lakh. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast medium bowler. Talking of cricket scores, Digvijay has taken a total of 104 runs and 15 wickets so far.
Talking about his film career, he was seen in 2013 in Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkumar Rao and Amit Sadh starrer Kai Po Che. In this film, he played the role of Ali. In the film also he plays a young cricketer who dreams of playing for the country. Now after the selection in IPL, he has really come one step closer to his dream. Digvijay was born in Beed district of Maharashtra. He played at the state level against Jammu and Kashmir last season in which he took 61 runs and 6 wickets.
