Kailash Vijayvargiya Steps Down as BJP National General Secretary

Indore: Following his victory as an MLA in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections from the Indore constituency, BJP stalwart Kailash Vijayvargiya has tendered his resignation from the position of National General Secretary of the party. Vijayvargiya has assumed the role of a cabinet minister in MP's Mohan Yadav cabinet.

Today, I had a meeting with BJP's National President, Shri Jagat Prasad Nadda. As per our party's principle of 'one person, one post,' I have submitted my resignation from the General Secretary position, Vijayvargiya said.

For nearly a decade, I had the privilege of serving in various capacities across the nation under the guidance of first Shri Amit Shah and subsequently Shri JP Nadda, he added.

Vijayvargiya met the BJP's national president, Jagat Prasad Nadda, in Delhi to convey his decision, which he also shared on his social media platform.

In his statement, Kailash Vijayvargiya highlighted, "Today, I met BJP National President Jagat Prasad Nadda. As per our party's principle of 'one person, one post,' I have resigned from the position of General Secretary."

He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to diligently contribute to organizational development across various regions of the country for nine years, initially under Amit Shah's guidance and later under JP Nadda's leadership.

Asserting the party's new directive for his involvement in Madhya Pradesh, Vijayvargiya pledged, "I am committed to the vision that India becomes a leading global force by 2047. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President JP Nadda, and Home Minister Amit Shah, we will strive towards empowering Madhya Pradesh in this direction."

Emphasizing his faith in Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav's leadership, he expressed optimism that Madhya Pradesh, under Yadav, will script a new chapter of progress and development.
