He raises his voice against child labour, Kailash Satyarthi, who has become the voice of many child labourers, is celebrating his birthday today. Till now, Kailash is educating thousands of child labourers by liberating them from wages. He has also been awarded the Nobel Prize. Kailash Satyarthi, active for two and a half decades against child labour, was born on 11 January 1954 in the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh. He lives in Delhi with his wife, son, daughter-in-law and daughter. He also conducts 'Bachpan Bachao Andolan'. Kailash started his career as an electronic engineer. However, leaving the job at the age of 26, he started working for the rights of children. Kailash is currently also the president of 'Global March Against Child Labor'.

Rugmark launched an awareness campaign in Europe and the US in the 1980s and 1990s, aiming to discourage the consumption of products that use child labour to manufacture. Satyarthi also launched a global campaign against child labour. He also played an important role in linking movements against child labour with the right to 'education for all'.
