Kajal Aggarwal has recently made headlines for allegedly leaving the film industry. Despite the rumours of her retirement, the actress has announced her next project, which is a female-centric picture. As it is her 60th film, it is provisionally dubbed Kajal60. On Sunday, the title and first glimpse will be revealed.

Kajal Aggarwal took to Twitter to release a poster while announcing her next project. On June 18, the film's official title and first trailer will be released. Aurum Arts Official is funding it. However, information about the cast, crew, language, and plot have been withheld. The details of her 60th birthday will be disclosed on social media tomorrow. Kajal released the poster and caption wrote, "Kajal60 Title and glimpse tomorrow. Can’t wait to show this to you all.”

Rumours circulated that the Sita actress had decided to abandon the film profession and devote her time to parenting. It was said that because she was unable to devote enough time to her son Neil due to her professional obligations, the South actress decided to give up her acting career to care for her child. However, it appears that the rumours are false, as Kajal's article plainly states that she is here to reign and entertain audiences.

Kajal Aggarwal returned to the big screen after a maternity break with Ghosty, a Tamil and Telugu horror comedy. She was most recently seen in the Tamil horror thriller 'Karungaapiyam,' which bombed at the box office. The film was directed by D Karthikeyan and starred Regina Cassandra, Janani Iyer, and Aadhav Kannadasan as prominent roles. Kajal Aggarwal will next be seen in Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, directed by Shankar. It also stars Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, and other celebrities. The composer is Anirudh Ravichander. Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari also features the actress.
