Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the renowned actors in Bollywood. He is famous for his realistic acting. He is the one of those actors who did not fit in the criteria of a perfect Bollywood actor because of his color and height but he made his name in Bollywood despite this.
The actor in the recent interview opens up on his color and the beauty. He said, “If they need fair people, then they need me as well. I am in demand. Kale rang aaj kal kafi demand hain (Dark skinned people are in demand). The beauty that a camera can capture is very different. That is an honest kind of beauty. If I am honest in front of the camera, the audience won’t realise but even I’ll start looking beautiful.”
He further explained his point said, “Look at Rinku Rajguru in Sairat. Despite having an unconventional look her presence in the film starts mesmerising you after a few minutes. At one point while watching the film I actually remarked, ‘Yeh ladki kitni khoobsurat hai (How pretty is she)!’. I honestly believe that the camera captured the beauty of Smita Patil like no other Indian actress. According to me, she was the most beautiful actress on camera. I feel the on-screen beauty is very different from real-world beauty.”
On the career front, he started his career with Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur Part 2 in 2012. He was last seen in Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria’s Heropanti 2, which failed to bring the audience to the theatres. The actor will be next seen in his upcoming film Haddi. Directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma, and co-written by him and Adamya Bhalla, the film is scheduled to be released next year. Nawazuddin also has films like Tiku Weds Sheru, Noorani Chehre and Bole Chudiya in the pipeline.
