Hooghly: The daughter of a retired railway employee used to live in her father's house after divorce. In the case of property, she brutally killed her father. The incident came to light from the Hooghly District in West Bengal. Recently a shocking case was registered at Uttarpara in Hooghly. Where the daughter has put the father-daughter relationship to shame on Saturday, she crushed her own father's head to death. The deceased person has been identified as Kalipado Das, 62 who is a retired railway employee. Kalipada's daughter Keya Das had moved in with her only son Abhishek Adhikari to her father's residence after taking a divorce from her husband.
Accused daughter is arrested, interrogation underway: According to information received so far, Dr Arvind Anand, DCP, Chandannagar Police Commissionerate has said that police have registered a case under Section 304 of the IPC against the accused and she has been taken into custody and intensive interrogation is on.
He continued, saying that the daughter was having an argument with her father over some property, which led to the dispute between the two to such an extent that the daughter committed such a heinous act. While Keya's son Abhishek Adhikari is said to be absconding since the incident. Preliminary police investigations revealed that after Keya's divorce, there was always a dispute between the father and daughter. On Saturday, she crossed all her limits, and the daughter angrily killed her father, crushing her father's head badly with a brick.
