Tamil actor Kamal Haasan was among the first ones to appreciate and congratulate Rajinikanth's stand on entering politics. Tweeting soon after Rajini announced his political debut, Hassan tweeted, "Welcomes welcome." The tweet reads: I congratulate my brother Rajini for his social consciousness and his political entry. Welcome welcome. Kamal Haasan had confirmed his entry into politics back in November this year and even launched an app called mayam whistle. Earlier, Haasan had passed a sly remark at Rajinikanth at a DMK event over the suspense around his political debut. This was during the Murasoli event where Rajini was also present.
