Chennai: Recently, some posters have been installed in Tamil Nadu that belong to Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for the post of Vice President. Her pictures are visible everywhere in Tamil Nadu at this time. Her niece Meena Harris has recently tweeted about this. In the posters in Tamil Nadu, Senator Kamala Harris from California has been called the 'winner'. 35-year-old niece of Kamala Harris, Meena, is a lawyer in California and on Sunday, by tweeting the image of the poster, she said, 'This poster has been sent from Tamil Nadu. The poster has a photo of Kamala Harris and is written in Tamil language - PV Gopalan's granddaughter is the winner.'

She told in a tweet, 'I have been sent a picture of this poster from where our family is in Tamil Nadu, India. I know my great grandfather because we used to go to Chennai. He was everything to my grand mother and I know that both must be smiling happily somewhere'. If South African father and Indian mother's daughter Kamala Harris succeeds, then she can be the first woman Vice President of the country.

The celebration in Tamil Nadu is because Harris's mother Shyamala Gopalan was born in Chennai. She went to America for her studies and came out as a leading cancer researcher. Talking about Kamala Harris, she shared some memories of the bygone days in India during an event on Saturday.
