Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath has expressed displeasure over the power failure and undeclared cuts in Madhya Pradesh. He has called a key meeting in this regard on Tuesday. The officers of different power utilities have been asked to be present.

As per the information received from sources, Chief Minister Kamal Nath told the authorities on Monday, "Why are there cases of power failure and cuts coming out from many parts of the state after the surplus power? Such cases will not be tolerated. Responsible officers improve the situation or else be prepared for stern action. "In fact, Power was cut for several hours after the rains hit several places on Sunday in the state. At the same time, cases of undeclared cuts were reported.

According to information, the chief Minister was strongly outraged and told the responsible officials that any fault and technical defect may be understandable if there is disruption in power distribution, but without any reason, if there is a power failure. He has instructed officers to provide electricity to ordinary consumers for 24 hours and at least 10 hours for cultivation.
