Kangana Ranaut gets relief in sedition case, no arrest till January 25

Kangana Ranaut has received great relief in the case of sedition charges. In fact, the Bombay High Court has heard the matter. While hearing the case, Kangana has been given relief from arrest till 25th January. In fact, the Bombay High Court today heard a plea to quash an FIR against Kangana.

In the meantime, the court pronounced its verdict which was largely in favor of Kangana. If you remember, earlier on January 8, Kangana Ranaut had filed his statement at Bandra police station. She was accompanied by her sister Rangoli. It is also reported that the interrogation of Kangana has not yet been completed and the police can call them for questioning again. If you remember all of you, the court had earlier stayed the arrest of Kangana till 8th January during the hearing of the case. During that, the court had also said that Kangana would go and file her statement in the police.

Assuming the court order, Kangana had filed her statement in Bandra police station on January 8. During that, Kangana was interrogated for about 3 hours and police looked at more than 100 tweets of Kangana. The police are said to be questioning all these tweets but have been questioned so far with a few tweets from Kangana.
