Ever since Kangana Ranaut called out nepotism on Koffee with Karan, and stirred up a debate which has engulfed the Industry, the tussle between Kangana and Karan Johar has been cropping up time and again.  But now its Seems like letting bygones be bygones, Karan Johar is ready to extend an olive branch and call it a truce with Kangana Ranaut. As per circulating reports, at a recent interview, Karan  call the Queen actress 'one of the best actresses that we have.'

In an interview, Karan Johar spoke on working with Kangana Ranaut. In an interview, karan  was asked by his close friend and Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta whether he would be comfortable helming Kangana anytime soon. To this, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director has been quoted by different media outlets as saying, "Yes, for sure. Kangana is one of the best actresses we have."

Earlier this year as well, Karan had said in a Huffington Post interview, on being asked a similar question, that if the film demands a Kangana then why not?

On the work front, Kangana has as many as 3 films in her kitty - Mental Hai Kya, Panga and Thalaivi, the J Jayalalithaa biopic. She recently walked out of Anurag Basu's Imali stating that she wanted to shift focus on her next directorial after Manikarnika. Karan Johar is currently gearing up for the release of his next production venture after the blockbuster success of Kesari, Kalank. He is expected to begin shooting for his next directorial venture Takht sometime later this year.
