Kangana's lawyer also produced the doctor's medical certificate before the court. Let us also tell all of you that Kangana's plea to quash the defamation case last week was rejected by the Bombay High Court. Justice Revathi Mohite Dera of the court had dismissed the petition after hearing the arguments of the lawyers of the duo. On the other hand, Javed Akhtar alleged that he had said things that hurt his dignity on National TV. In fact, Javed Akhtar referred to his TV interview with Sushant Singh Rajput.

What's the whole matter- In an interview after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Kangana Ranaut had made a series of allegations against Javed Akhtar by naming him. It was only after his allegations that Javed took action against him. In December last year, the court had ordered an inquiry against Kangana to the Juhu police and issued a notice to Kangana in February, initiating the proceedings of the case after the report was submitted. After all this, the dispute between Kangana and Javed Akhtar escalated considerably.
