Saturday, JNU students union leader Kanhaiya Kumar campaigned for his friend and college mate Mohammed Mohsin P, a CPI candidate contesting from Pattambi in the district for the May 16 Assembly polls.
"Kerala is one of the most literate states in the country. The place is also known for its progressive values and gender justice," Kumar said and wondered how the Prime Minister could make such a remark about Kerala.
Kumar also urge to gathering to fight "to preserve the Constitution and democracy in the country".
