Priyanka Gandhi Calls PM Modi's 'Babri Lock' Remarks an Absolute Lie

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a prominent leader of the Congress party, has strongly refuted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent statements regarding the Babri Masjid issue. Modi claimed that if the Congress were to come to power, they would "lock" the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Priyanka Gandhi labeled this assertion as an "absolute lie," asserting that her party would uphold court judgments.

"The claim is entirely false ('yeh ekdum jhooth hai'). The Congress has repeatedly stated its commitment to respect court rulings. We have done so in the past and will continue to do so in the future," she declared to reporters.

Regarding Modi's remarks about Adani and Ambani, Priyanka Gandhi mentioned that the Prime Minister was compelled to mention their names. She pointed out that Rahul Gandhi, her brother and another key figure in the Congress, frequently refers to Adani and Ambani in his speeches.

In a recent accusation, Modi alleged that the Congress has ties with "Ambani and Adani" and questioned whether the party had received large sums of undisclosed money from these businessmen. He suggested that such funds might have been used to prevent Rahul Gandhi from criticizing them.

Priyanka Gandhi also expressed her desire for the Prime Minister to thoroughly review the Congress manifesto before making comments about it. "Despite being the Prime Minister and older than me...my suggestion is for him to read the (Congress) manifesto first and then offer his thoughts. He hasn't read it. He attributes things to the manifesto that aren't there," she remarked.
