Kanpur: In Kanpur, a BJP leader threatened to kill the manager of the Pan Masala Company. Police have taken him into custody after the threatening audio of BJP leader Neeraj Pandey going viral. Angry with the non-availability of Pan Masala's agency, the BJP leader threatened to kill the manager of the agency.

The BJP leader uttered extremely abusive words to the manager on call several times, and also threatened to close down the business. The audio of the BJP leader came into media and it went viral on social media. The police filed a case and took the culprit BJP leader into custody. Neeraj Pandey, who is the District Vice President of BJP of Kanpur, expressed his desire to take the agency of a Pan Masala factory in Panki, Kanpur.

Their talks also progressed, but for some reason, Pan Masala Agency for Akbarpur could not be obtained. After which his ego was extremely hurt. He called Pawan Gupta, the manager of Pan Masala Factory, and abused him fiercely. Boasted of his post in BJP, and threatened to kill him. Victim Pawan Gupta complained about it to the Panki police station. Earlier, no action was taken against the BJP leader by the police, but immediately after the audio went viral on social media, a case was filed. The case is now being investigated by the police.
