Lucknow: The Yogi government has intensified action on Dawat-e-Islami, which came to light after the violence that broke out after Friday prayers in Kanpur. Now the administration has tightened the noose on the building of Dawat-e-Islami located in Chhote Mian Ka Hata. Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) has issued orders in this regard. Instructing to present the map of the building, a warning has been given to seize or demolish it. The main point of investigation is how did it become a madrasa?

On the instructions of KDA VC Arvind Singh, OSD Avnish Kumar Singh has appointed Under Secretary KCM Singh as the investigating officer. There will be five important points of this investigation. The first point is that if this land belonged to a municipal school, then how did a madrasa come to be here? The second point is whether the building has been constructed according to the map or against the map. Thirdly, whether the map of the building is with the administration or not? Fourthly, in whose name is this land owned and by whom has the building been constructed? The final point of inquiry will be whether it was constructed in connivance with the employees or not. Its detailed report has been sought from the Under Secretary.

KDA has also sought information about this building from the Municipal Corporation. Records have also been summoned from Municipal Corporation's Chief Assessing Officer and Property Officer Anirudh Singh. It has been asked in whose name this land was in the inscriptions. According to KDA OSD Avneesh Singh, an inquiry has been ordered into the aspects related to how the Dawat-e-Islami madrassa was built in Chhote Miyan's house and on what basis its building was built.
