In fact, on Thursday, he hit out at the slow and disorderly vaccination process in the country and made serious allegations of indulging in petty politics on the issue of vaccination. More than 53 crore (26,53,17,472) people have been given vaccine doses.
Last Wednesday, a total of 20,67,085 vaccine doses were given as first dose and 67,447 as second dose in the age group of 18-44 years. So far, in all, 4,72,06,953 persons have received their first dose in 37 States/UTs and a total of 9,68,098 people have received their second dose since the launch of the third phase of vaccination campaign. In fact, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal have given first dose of vaccine to more than 10 lakh beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 years.
