Karan Johar shells out record-breaking amount for Dear Comrade Hindi rights

Hindi remakes of South's blockbuster films are trending in Bollywood in these days. Recently, Vijay Deverakonda Starrer Arjun Reddy was created as Kabir Singh in Hindi, playing the lead role by Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The film has proved to be a super hit at the box office and has also made a tremendous collection at the box office.

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has also bought the remake rights of Vijay Deoraconda's recent release, Dear Comrade, and the price has now been revealed. Not only Karan Johar but many other producers were lying behind the purchase of the rights of the film. According to media reports, Karan Johar has bought the rights to the Dear Comrade film for Rs 6 crore. This amount has not been paid for the rights of films like Temper (Symba) and Kanchana 2 (Lakshmi Bomb).

For details, The Deer Comrade has been released on July 26 and the film is in the lead role of Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandana. The film, directed by Bharat Kamma, is an Intense Love Story drama film and the story is a love story between a student union leader and a state-level cricketer.
