At TOIFA(Times Of India Film Awards) Varun said,"Suddhi' is not happening at the moment. I think Karan announced it," Prior to the confimation of cast for 'Shuddhi',It was reported that Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were supported but at last Vraun was to star with Alia Bhatt.
