Rajasthan: Temple priest dies after being set on fire over land issue

Jaipur: There has been big news from Rajasthan which has surprised everyone. In fact, the priest of a temple in Karauli has been burnt alive. Under the information received in the case, petrol was poured on the priest and then he was burnt alive. The priest is said to have succumbed to his injuries in the hospital during the treatment. The police has now arrested the main accused in the case, Kailash Meena.

This action has been taken on the direction of SP, Mhow Kachwa. The police said about the case that there was a dispute over the temple land on both sides. Police say priest Babilal Vaishnava said in a statement that my family cultivated 15 Bigha temple land. Further, the statement also said that the accused Kailash, Shankar and Namo Meena were captured in his enclosure.

The panch and patels had given a decree not to occupy the temple land on behalf of any person other than the priest. After that, on Wednesday, Kailash, Shankar, Namo, Kishan, Ramlakhhan family occupied his enclosure and took the thatch. In the entire case, the police searched for the accused by forming separate teams and arrested the main accused Kailash Meena. The search for the remaining accused is now reported to be continuing.
