On Tuesday, a court in Hyderabad took an important decision after hearing the case related to the blast. The court acquitted terrorist Syed Abdul Karim alias Tunda on charges of conspiring for the 1998 serial blasts. The Metropolitan Sessions Judge said that the prosecution could not produce sufficient evidence against Tunda. The suspected terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba is considered to be an expert in making bombs. He is accused of carrying out more than 40 bomb blasts across the country. The 77-year-old Tunda, suspected of a Mumbai attack, is currently lodged in a jail in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
