Bengaluru: Hours after the Supreme Court paved the way for 17 disqualified Congress and JDS MLAs to contest the by-elections on December 5, Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa and Deputy CM Ashwatthanarayan CN claimed that these leaders of opposition parties will join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on 14 November.

Deputy CM Ashwatthanarayan said that unqualified legislators have expressed their desire to join the Bharatiya Janata Party and met with our senior leaders. He is welcome to join the party.
