New Delhi: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has assumed additional charge of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises from today. Javadekar also has the Ministry of Information Broadcasting and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. Let us know that on Tuesday, President Ram Nath Kovind accepted the resignation of Union Minister and Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant.

Arvind Sawant was looking after the work of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises in the Central Government. But due to the ongoing political tussle in Maharashtra, he resigned from the post of Union Minister on Monday. Now the charge of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises has also been given to the leader coming from Maharashtra. Prakash Javadekar, who is looking after the Ministry of Information Broadcasting and Environment and Climate Change in the Central Government, has now been given the additional responsibility of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.

Let me tell you that in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the alliance of BJP and Shiv Sena contested together. In the election result, Shiv Sena won 56 seats in the assembly elections and BJP also got 105, majority of the alliance of both parties, but there is still question on the post of CM.
