Maulana Madani said in an encounter that the status of Babri Masjid in terms of Sharia is not more than other mosques located in the country, but it was a fight, which we fought for 70 years. The Jamiat chief said that according to Sharia in Islam, only three mosques are important. Among those mosques are Masjid-al-Haram (Khana-e-Kaaba) of Mecca, Masjid-e-Nabvi of Medina and Bait-ul-Mukdas located in Jerusalem. He said that after them all mosques are the same and in terms of Sharia, the status of Babri Masjid is not more than that of a mosque in any corner of Deoband.
