Karnataka Elections 2023: Amit Shah, Nadda to hold road shows today

KARNATAKA: Ahead of the Assembly polls in Karnataka, the single southern state where the BJP is in power, is putting all its efforts into the election campaign, targetting for a 2nd-term in the state. Today, April 24,, Union Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President J.P Nadda are set to hold road shows in different parts of Karnataka.

From Sunday onwards, the Union Home Minister was in Karnataka on a 3-day trip. On Monday, Shah will visit the Sri Chamundeshwari Devi Temple and  will conduct a roadshow in Hassan.

On April 25, Shah will deliver speeches during meeting  in the communities of Yadagiri, Teradal, and Devarhippargi in the Vijayapura district. He will also take part in a roadshow in Yadagiri.

On Monday, BJP leader JP Nadda will also campaign for the group. In the Chikkaballapur district's Sidlaghatta, he will take part in a roadshow. He will also address a number of public gatherings and visit a shrine in Sirsi, Uttara Kannada district.

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches his campaign for the May 10 election on April 29, the party's massive election campaign is set to gain momentum.

Pralhad Joshi, a minister for the union, claims that PM Modi will launch his campaign in Belgavi. In Belagavi, one of the largest districts in Karnataka, he will travel to Chikodi, Kittur, and Kudachi.

Other BJP top-leaders who will be visiting Karnataka ahead of the election for campaigning include Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who  will reportedly address four election rallies on 26 and 29 April and on 5 and 7 May, respectively. Smriti Irani, the Union Minister for Textiles, will also speak at eight rallies between April 25 and May 6.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will hold four public gatherings on April 26 and 30 and May 6 and 7, respectively. Between May 3 and 5, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will speak at five public gatherings.
