Now the Communist Party of India (CPI) has announced to support the Congress on 215 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. The party has made this announcement through a statement on Sunday.

Congress's Karnataka election in-charge Randeep Surjewala said in a press conference on Sunday that, we have talked to CPI. CPI is going to field its candidates on 7 seats. Surjewala further said that CPI will soon announce candidates for other seats. There will be competition on 7 seats, but CPI will support Congress candidates on other 215 assembly seats.
