Dehradun: Before the Kedarnath Yatra started, a tragic accident took place in Uttarakhand. Today i.e. on Sunday afternoon, a young man lost his life after coming under the grip of the helicopter's fan. The name of the deceased has been told as Amit Saini. Saini was the financial controller of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation. According to sources, during the landing of the helicopter, when Amit Saini was going near the helicopter, his neck was cut due to the grip of the tail rotor (rear fan) and he died on the spot. 

According to sources, the CEO of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation was also present during the accident on the helipad. This accident happened during the inspection. Kedarnath Yatra is going to start from 25th April. Let us tell you that the doors of Baba Kedarnath are going to open from April 25, for which preparations are going on fiercely at the administration level. Along with this, the temple committee is also working to decorate the Kedarnath temple. All the departments are engaged in their respective preparations. 

At the same time, heli services have also reached the Dham for the convenience of the devotees. DGCA has allowed nine heli services for Kedarnath Dham this time. These nine heli services will fly from Guptkashi, Phata and Shersi. Pilgrims going to Kedarnath Dham by heli service can book tickets only on IRCTC website http://heliyatra.irctc.co.in.
