Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Sunday that Bengaluru has been transformed into a true international city, and that numerous initiatives are being done for the city's development under the Amrith Nagarothana Yojana.
The chief minister further stated that the Amrith Nagarothana Yojana is implementing numerous initiatives for Bengaluru's growth.
"Bengaluru has evolved into a true global metropolis. The Amrith Nagarothana Yojana is implementing a number of projects for the city's development. Bengaluru is a beautiful city that is the global centre of IT and BT, as well as emerging as a financial capital "While addressing at the 'Janapada Utsav 2022' at Padmanabha Nagar, Bommai added.
He further said that in the last three quarters of the financial year, Karnataka has attracted the highest Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) of 47 percent, outperforming all other states in the country.
"In some states, the percentage is only 1-2 or 4%. Bengaluru's growth is a top priority for the state government "he added.
