Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai stated on Thursday that his visit to the national capital had been a grand success.

Bommai was in Nw Delhi for a two-day visit to meet with top BJP officials, including JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah, to discuss the expansion of his eight-month-old government's cabinet. "This time in Delhi, I was able to meet with Union Ministers for Water Resources, Energy, Environment, Finance, and Defense. They have responded positively to my request " to Bommai shared before reporters. "I am glad that I got an opportunity to participate in the BJP's Foundation Day celebrations," he said..

"On the 16th and 17th of April, the BJP State Executive Committee will convene. JP Nadda, the BJP's national president, has given the party and myself instructions on how to prepare for the next assembly election "he mentioned.  Bommai further briefed about the brief Cabinet expansion held, in which Nadda remarked that he would check the problems in greater depth when he arrives for the BJP State Executive Committee meeting. "After meeting the party's senior brass and the BJP National General Secretary (Organisation), he (Nadda) will make a final decision," Bommai added.

Bommai declared the implementation of Budget programmes to be his top priority, saying, "On my return to Bengaluru, work orders for the programmes will be issued. The programmes would be implemented in a specific time frame."
