Bangalore: Almost a year before the Karnataka assembly elections, the stir in the state BJP has intensified. It is reported that CM Basavaraj Bommai is scheduled to meet the BJP's central leadership over the cabinet reshuffle. He is leaving for the national capital Delhi on Tuesday. Let us know that assembly elections in Karnataka can be held in April 2023. At the same time, amidst this political turmoil, many BJP leaders of the state have also camped in Delhi.

CM Bommai said, "I have sought time to meet Nadda Ji and Amit Shah Ji, but the appointment is yet to be received. If I have time, I'll meet them. Media reports quoted BJP sources as saying that many ministers and leaders have also reached the national capital with the possibility of getting a place in the cabinet and fear of being out. In the recent past, CM Bommai had said that he would take a final decision on the cabinet expansion during his visit to New Delhi in early April.

It is to be noted that they are also reaching Delhi at a time when the BJP Parliamentary Party is meeting. At present, four posts in the Karnataka government with 34 ministers are black. There is speculation that the party may show the way out to at least four ministers to induct new faces. Speculation is also rife that the BJP is appointing a new party president ahead of the 2023 elections.
