Long Queues Witnessed Outside Wine Shops Even Before Opening Of Shops

New Delhi: Liquor shops have opened in Karnataka since Monday after the government gave a relaxation in the lockdown. The government had given permission to shopkeepers to open shops in compliance with certain rules from today. The pleasure of opening liquor shops can be seen among the wine seekers.

In a liquor shop in Hubli, Karnataka, people were seen standing in long lines before the shutter was lifted. The time to open liquor shops on behalf of the government has been fixed from 9 am to 7 pm. In the pictures released by the news agency ANI, you can see that people are standing in long lines and waiting for the shutters of the shop to rise.

Let us tell you that the government has allowed liquor sales in Karnataka as well as in the Green and Orange zones. However, liquor shops in the Containment Zone will remain closed for now. According to the advisory issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, all the shops which are not in any mall or market will open in the sale of liquor, Green, Orange and Red Zone. In liquor shops, customers must follow social distancing. People must maintain at least two yards of each other. No more than 5 customers can visit the shop at a time.
