Bengaluru: Political turmoil has increased in several states of the country over the past few years, Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa said on Sunday that he will take appropriate decisions after receiving directions from the BJP high command this evening. He said that if instructions are received by evening, you will also know about it.
When asked about the Sant Samagam being held in Bengaluru on Sunday, Yediyurappa said, "Saints need not hold any meeting.'' He said he has faith in PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP national president JP Nadda. It may be recalled that the sant Samagam is being seen as a show of solidarity with Yediyurappa.
Also, when asked about the Dalit CM being replaced in place of him, he said he cannot make a decision on it. This decision will be taken by the High Command. First, it has to be seen what they decide today. Asked if he was satisfied with his two years of work, he said that if you are satisfied, it is very much for me. Indicating that Monday night will be his last day for the post of CM, Yediyurappa had recently informed that he would start his work from July 26 on the basis of orders received by central leaders on July 25.
