Karnataka's Dy. CM Shivakumar to visit MP for two days

BHOPAL: DK Shivakumar, the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka will be on a two-day visit to poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, as per the state Congress.

On Saturday at 2 p.m., the Congress leader would fly into Gwalior Airport and depart for Datia, which is around 70 km away.

DK Shivakumar is scheduled to visit the Baglamukhi temple, which also called Pitambara Peeth, in Datia according to information from the state Congress. Shivakumar will depart for Indore at 7.30 p.m. after performing his prayers at Peetambara Peeth.

He would reach Ujjain from Indore to do prayers at the Mahakaleshwar temple. He is expected to take part in the morning ritual known as "bhasma aarti." He  would also pray at the Kalbhairava shrine.

On Sunday morning, Shivakumar would fly from the airport in Indore back to Bangalore.

There has been talk in political circles for the past few weeks that Shivakumar will be active in Madhya Pradesh, but during his two-day tour, he won't be there and will simply be praying at temples.
