Many leaders are seen putting a lot of efforts from their side. The Governor can nominate three MLCs at a time. Four posts of MLC in the Legislative Council are vacant.

Due to the pandemic, the Election Commission postponed the election. The Governor nominates six candidates in the Legislative Council. Three posts are vacant at this time.
