HYDERABAD: On Sunday, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao hinted at a fundamental shift in his stance toward the Congress, saying that all forces must unite to drive the BJP out of the country because its continued presence will harm the country.

He also stated that he will meet with his Maharashtra and West Bengal counterparts, Uddhav Thackeray and Mamata Banerjee, in the near future as part of efforts to bring various political groups together. Banerjee called the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President, he added, and they had a discussion over phone. "She could show up at any time. We're talking about it now "He told reporters about it.

KCR said that Thackeray was also waiting for him and that he may travel to Mumbai at any time.  The TRS leader stated that he was discussing his thoughts with all of the leaders and that they would eventually determine whether it should be a national party or a front. "I can assure you of one thing. I'll play a big part in that "he stated

Responding to the reporter’s question that if he plans to work with the Congress, KCR stated he couldn't say. "That is something I am unable to predict. All forces must get together to defeat the BJP. We must first accomplish this, and then whatever occurs will occur "he stated

Prior to the 2019 elections, the TRS leader met with leaders from a variety of parties to put up a front as an alternative to both the BJP and the Congress.
