Why use chemical filled wipes when you can make your own wipes at home. Protect your baby's skin from the harsh chemicals!!!
Here's what you'll need
- 1 roll of heavy duty paper towels (good quality)
- 6 or 8 containers of Rubbermaid to store your wipes
- 1 3/4 cups of boiled water which is cooled but still warm to touch
- 1 tbsp of pure aloe vera
- 1 tbsp of pure witch hazel extract
- 1 tsp of liquid Castile soap
- 2 capsules of vitamin E
- 1 tsp of olive oil
- Essential oils (orange or lavender. If your baby has sensitive skin skip this)
Here's what you got to do
- Cut the roll of paper towels in half.
- Place wipes in the container.
- Cut side down in container.
- In a bowl, mix the aloe vera, witch hazel, Castile soap, vitamin E and oils and stir.
- Add the essential oils only if your baby doesn't have sensitive skin.
- Pour over paper towels in the container and let it absorb for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Flip over and check if the wipes are well coated and soaked.
- If you are using a Rubbermaid container then pull the cardboard roll out from the inside. This will pull the inner most wipe out and help you get started as regular wipes.
- Your wipes are ready to use!
