What is the name of the temple- The name of this temple is "Kheer Bhavani Devi" temple. There is a lot of interesting things about this temple. The temple is located in Tulumula village in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. This temple is called the centre of faith of Kashmiri Pandits. The temple is built 27 km east of Srinagar. The people who come to worship in this temple are Kashmiri Hindus, non-Kashmiri Hindus are all included. When the spring season comes, the Kheer is offered to the Goddess in the temple. This tradition has been going on since the beginning and it is said that this is why the goddess' name is also 'Kheer Bhavani'. Kheer Bhavani is also known by the name of Maharagya Devi.

Now we tell you about the secret of this temple which is unique and also unthinkable. It is a temple that has a waterfall. That waterfall is a hexagonal waterfall. This waterfall looks like a goddess. People living here believe that Rama, the deity of the Hindus, used this temple as a place of worship in his exile. After that, as soon as the period of exile was over, Lord Hanuman was ordered by Lord Rama to transfer the idol of Goddess to Shadipora. Since then it has been located here. Talking about the mystery of the temple, whenever there is a big disaster in Jammu and Kashmir, then this temple gets its signal. Whenever there is a big objection, disaster, problem coming up in Jammu and Kashmir, then this temple is the first to indicate that.

As soon as there is a great calamity coming on Jammu and Kashmir, before that, the water of the tank of this temple becomes black. Many people will say that there is no big deal in this but it is said that the colour of the water is dark. When the watercolour is dark or black, it is considered the most inauspicious sign for Jammu and Kashmir. Most people of Jammu and Kashmir believe that when the water of the pool is pure and clear, it is auspicious in the valley but when the water is black it is an inauspicious sign.

Whenever there has been a disaster in Kashmir, the water of this pool has become black. Even when Kashmir was flooded in the year 2014, before the arrival of this disaster, the colour of the water became dark black. All the pandits there had a feeling that there is going to be some deep crisis. After all this, Kashmir was flooded. There are many other such stories which suggest that the temple water indicates that something is going to go wrong.

This temple is kept open throughout the year. Poplar trees and streams of rivers flow around this temple making it attractive. The special feature in this temple is Prasad which is only kheer and milk. Apart from this Prasad nothing else climbs here.

People living here and visiting the temple also believe that the colour of kheer remains white, but when there is a big objection in Jammu and Kashmir, then the colour of kheer also turns black. There is also a unique belief among the people here that on an auspicious day the colour of the water changes, which is unique.

All this is true or false, it can be found only by going there and staying there. The temple is unique for those who believe and it is of no importance to those who do not believe.
