New Delhi: The corona epidemic has created panic everywhere, with CM Arvind Kejriwal holding a press conference on Tuesday amid the ongoing threat of coronavirus in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal has announced that there are 72 lakh ration card holders in Delhi and all of them will get free ration for two months. The Delhi chief minister made the big announcement amid the corona crisis and the lockdown that has been going on for several days.

Arvind Kejriwal said that all auto drivers and taxi drivers in Delhi will be given financial assistance of 5,000 rupees each. It will benefit about 1.5 lakh, auto-taxi drivers. Arvind Kejriwal said that similar assistance has been given to the laborers only last week.

The Delhi CM said that getting ration for two months free does not mean that the lockdown will last for two months. We want the lockdown to be removed at the earliest if the situation improves. Arvind Kejriwal has urged to help people if they can help anyone in a difficult time due to corona. If you want to deliver food to someone, help in beds, cylinders, or anything else, do it. The second wave of corona in Delhi has caused havoc, more than 20,000 cases and more than 400 deaths have been reported daily in Delhi for the last several days. Delhi hospitals are short of beds, oxygen, and many other facilities.
